    The ACE2 protein CSB-MP684964PAL is a recombinant Paguma larvata ACE2 produced in mammalian cells, with a C-terminal hFc-tag. Its expression region corresponds to amino acids 18-740 of the Paguma larvata ACE2 protein. This recombinant ACE2 protein is biologically active, low in endotoxin (less than 1.0 EU/µg protein, determined by the LAL method), and high in purity (greater than 94.8%, SDS-PAGE). In the functional ELISA, SARS-CoV-2 S-RBD can bind to this ACE2 protein binds to the anti-ACE2 antibody with an EC50 constant of 5.056-7.559 ng/ml. Its enzyme activity was determined by cleaving fluorogenic peptide substrate, with the Km of 22.84 nM. It is available now.

    ACE2 is a zinc metalloenzyme and carboxypeptidase that negatively regulates the renin-angiotensin system (counterbalancing ACE activity), acts as the key SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV0-2 receptor, and stabilizes the transport of the neutral amino acids.
